A week after losing the election to President Obama, Mitt Romney blamed his overwhelming electoral loss on what he said were big “gifts” that the president had bestowed on loyal Democratic constituencies, including young voters, African-Americans and Hispanics.

In a conference call on Wednesday afternoon with his national finance committee, Mr. Romney said that the president had followed the “old playbook” of wooing specific interest groups — “especially the African-American community, the Hispanic community and young people,” Mr. Romney explained — with targeted gifts and initiatives.

“In each case they were very generous in what they gave to those groups,” Mr. Romney said.

“With regards to the young people, for instance, a forgiveness of college loan interest, was a big gift,” he said. “Free contraceptives were very big with young college-aged women. And then, finally, Obamacare also made a difference for them, because as you know, anybody now 26 years of age and younger was now going to be part of their parents’ plan, and that was a big gift to young people. They turned out in large numbers, a larger share in this election even than in 2008.”

The president’s health care plan, he added, was also a useful tool in mobilizing African-American and Hispanic voters. Though Mr. Romney won the white vote with 59 percent, according to exit polls, minorities coalesced around the president in overwhelming numbers — 93 percent of blacks and 71 percent of Hispanics voted to re-elect Mr. Obama.

“You can imagine for somebody making $25,000 or $30,000 or $35,000 a year, being told you’re now going to get free health care, particularly if you don’t have it, getting free health care worth, what, $10,000 per family, in perpetuity, I mean, this is huge,” he said. “Likewise with Hispanic voters, free health care was a big plus. But in addition with regards to Hispanic voters, the amnesty for children of illegals, the so-called Dream Act kids, was a huge plus for that voting group.”

Obama got 40% of the white vote. 43% of women voted for Mitt Romney. YIKES.

Yes, Mitt Romney, it makes perfect sense to get rid of FEMA and have the states deal with a natural disaster. Because it makes sense that the state that is devastated by it will have to fend for themselves with no help from any other state. Yep. Makes sense.

I just want to remind everyone that Mitt Romney wants to get rid of FEMA and said it is immoral for the federal government to help people in disasters like this.

Also, he stayed in Ohio today, the state he needs to win for the presidency, and had people buy food for the people to give to the Red Cross… nice suggestion, sure, but the Red Cross solely relies on donations. They will have to sort through ALL that food and supplies when the people could have simply donated the money they spent for the food to buy the stuff themselves. It is more time wasted that they have to deal with. And it sickens me whenever I hear about how Romney talks about people suffering. He does not care.

This is the same man who wants to

• Outlaw abortion in all cases
• Repeal Obamacare
• More military spending even though the Pentagon doesn’t want it
• Give millionaires tax breaks
• Raise taxes on the middle class
• Changes his views on EVERYTHING
• Never gives straight answers
• The list goes on…

He is pretty much George Bush.

He is also the co-founder of Bain Capital and even though he left in 1999 there has been evidence that he was still part of it until 2002 and he STILL owns 51% of the company and his model for the company still survives today. His company has shipped thousands of jobs to other countries, mostly China. Making the people getting fired in America even train the workers and not give them full severance.

So I’m at McDonald’s with my friend Jordan and he just pointed out that the pentagram has 5 points and so does Mitt Romney’s 5 point plan and he also 5 kids.

It’s really condescending, and extremely inappropriate, for Fox News to praise Mitt Romney on doing “zingers” but oh no when President Obama does it he is condemned… What the hell is wrong with those people!?

That 47% of Americans that Mitt talked about, wish it was more like 53% then he really wouldn’t be able to win.

• Doesn’t support any legislation for equal pay.
• His VP mate helped Todd Akin write a bill that would redefine rape.

• Thinks Russia is our biggest foe.

• Before he took office as governor, Massachusetts was 36th in job growth, when he left office as governor, it was 47th.
• When he left office, the state lost 40,000 manufacturing jobs.
• What he promised the people in that state is the same promise he is giving to America but it didn’t work in Massachusetts and it won’t work in the country as a whole.

I really don’t think it gets any clearer who is right for America. GoBama!

Every time Romney says he balanced budgets while working in business, I feel compelled to remind the world that he did so by gutting companies, firing American employees and shipping their jobs to China.
